Michelle Silver is an Art Director, Creative Director, and Brand Designer with over 15 years of experience shaping brand identities and campaigns for clients ranging from global hospitality and entertainment brands to nonprofits, startups, and cultural organizations.

Silver specializes in translating strategy into compelling visual systems across digital, print, and 360 integrated marketing campaigns. She regularly collaborates with cross-functional teams and guides projects from early concept development through execution and launch. She is an effective communicator who can clearly present her vision in an executive meeting, client pitch or virtual setting, and natural leader who empowers through close mentorship and collaboration.

With a background in both advertising and fine art, Silver brings a distinctive perspective that balances audience-focused design with a strong artistic sensibility. Her work is known for combining clear strategy with expressive visual storytelling to create identities, campaigns and brand systems that are both memorable and successful.

Silver grew up on the edge of the Catskill mountains in New York and spent her early adulthood in a vibrant art community in Boston, where she graduated magna cum laude from Boston University in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in Advertising and Fine Art. She then moved to Brooklyn, where she surrounded herself with inspiration, collaborated with amazing clients and creatives, developed her design voice, joined a band, and painted obsessively. Desiring a peaceful place to create and raise her family, she moved to a woodsy home on the side of a mountain in the lower Hudson Valley, NY in 2019. Silver currently co-owns a combined art gallery and tattoo studio in Beacon, NY called Distortion Society with her tattoo artist husband Bradley Silver, in addition to her painting practice and design career.
